ENEX reconfirms its position at the heart of the energy transformation
Over 21,000 participants, nearly 300 companies from 11 countries, technological premieres and dozens of debates and expert meetings – this is what this year's ENEX trade fair at Targi Kielce. For two days, the exhibition halls served as a forum for discussions on the future of energy, energy security, and the development of renewable energy sources.
The latest solutions for the renewable energy, electromobility and modern energy sectors were presented in the expo halls of Targi Kielce, and a rich conference program created space for a broad debate on the directions of market development.
Technologies for the energy of the future
The ENEX trade fair has been a barometer of change in the energy sector for years, and this year's show confirmed that the renewable energy sector is entering the next stage of development. It moves from individual prosumer installations to integrated systems that include photovoltaics, energy storage, heat pumps, and intelligent energy management.
Exhibitors presented solutions for households, industry, and large infrastructure projects, and particular attention was paid to technologies related to energy storage, which is increasingly recognised as one of the key elements of power system stability.
Huawei Digital Power - the exclusive Partner of the Enex Expo Huawei Digital Power expo stand presented a wide portfolio of technologies – from home energy storage and inverters for prosumer installations to solutions for large-scale photovoltaic projects and BESS systems supporting the stability of the power grid. The solutions on show indicated the direction of market development – the integration of energy production, its storage and intelligent consumption management.
Technology launches and company presentations
Numerous technological premieres were presented in the expo halls of Targi Kielce, responding to the growing demand for energy efficiency and power supply security. New generation photovoltaic modules with increased efficiency were of particular interest. DMEGC Solar presented the INFINITY RT 3.0 module with up to 650 W of power and up to 24.1 per cent efficiency, based on high-bifacial N-type cell technology. New solutions were also presented by Tongwei Solar and TCL SunPower Global, developing technologies that enable higher energy yield from the same installation area.
Energy storage systems, which enable increased self-consumption of energy from photovoltaic installations and provide an emergency power supply, also generated great interest. Hinen unveiled a 15 kW three-phase hybrid system with rapid switchover to emergency power mode, designed for homes with higher energy demands. MUST and TCL SunPower Global also presented solutions integrating hybrid inverters with energy storage.
In the heating technology segment, heat pumps using natural refrigerants attracted attention. De Dietrich presented the Alezio M R290 heat pump operating on propane, which is characterised by a very low environmental impact. Qvantum presented a ground-source heat pump designed to operate reliably even at low temperatures.
The innovations also include photovoltaic carports presented by Tiga-Cynk, which enable energy production in parking lots, and PV installation monitoring systems using thermal image analysis, developed by SENSE Software. Jean Mueller Polska presented security solutions protecting photovoltaic installations against overvoltages and overloads. The trend of integrating energy technologies into a single system is also becoming increasingly visible – Galmet presented solutions, including heat pumps, heat storage systems, and renewable energy installations, as a coherent system.
Debates about the future of the energy sector
An important pillar of the ENEX was the conference agenda - the two-day knowledge-pack included numerous conferences, industry forums and expert panels held. One of the key events was the PSME Smart Energy Forum, where experts analysed developments in energy storage technologies and the role of power system flexibility.
The conference of the Provincial Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management, during which new support for the energy storage market was announced, also generated great interest. At the meeting, Deputy Minister of Climate and Environment Anita Sowińska announced the launch of a new subsidy program for energy storage facilities, intended to support the development of installations that enhance the energy security of households and businesses.
The Heat Pump Forum, devoted to the current market situation and the prospects for the development of this technology in Poland, was an important element of the agenda. HVAC industry experts discussed regulatory changes, investment costs and the role of heat pumps in low-emission building heating systems.
The Solar+ Forum was also well-attended, and discussed the development of next-generation photovoltaic installations, the integration of PV systems with energy storage, and the future of prosumer and industrial energy.
YouTubers Zone
One of the most dynamic parts of the expo program was the YouTuber Zone, where internet creators covering energy and technology topics met with the audience.
The two-day event included discussions on energy independence, off-grid installations, energy storage, the selection of photovoltaic modules and the future of electromobility. The format of the meetings encouraged open conversation and direct exchange of experiences between installers, experts and users of energy technologies.
Awards for Innovation and Installers
Traditionally, the ENEX Award gala was an important part of the trade fair - the most innovative products presented by exhibitors were recognised. The awards go to companies that set directions for the development of the energy industry and introduce new technologies to the market.
The final of the national Installer of the Year 2026 competition also aroused great excitement; after fierce competition, Voltaic System emerged victorious, earning the title of best installer in Poland. The competition has been very popular among the installation community for years and highlights the importance of competence and quality of workmanship in the rapidly evolving renewable energy sector.
ENEX as a market barometer
This year’s ENEX trade fair at Targi Kielce once again confirms its position as one of the most important events in the energy sector in Poland and Central and Eastern Europe. Kielce welcomes technology producers, installers, investors, local government representatives, and administrative representatives who meet to discuss the directions of energy transformation.
Over 21,000 participants and hundreds of companies from around the world show that interest in modern energy is constantly growing. ENEX has once again proven that the energy transformation is gaining momentum. Targi Kielce remains one of the most important meeting places for the energy industry in this part of Europe.
